Global research collaborations rise during the coronavirus pandemic

Since the coronavirus was identified less than four months ago, numbers of vaccine candidates have been in development worldwide currently. This is an unprecedented speed and size for scientists and researchers in the fights against diseases.
Karen Grépin, an associate professor at the School of Public Health at HKU said, “the global research community is incredibly mobilised right now to contribute their time and skills to research of this nature, and making this data more available will lead to [much more] knowledge being generated.”
