Siddharth Sridhar: The second tsunami
Siddharth Sridhar, clinical assistant professor from HKU ’s Department of Microbiology urged Hongkongers and the government take a series of measures facing the re-surging Covid-19 wave in an article published by CitizenNews on July 13, 2020.
“Lack of identified source for many of the cases and wide spread of cases across Hong Kong means that there are many outbreaks ongoing simultaneously throughout the territory,” he wrote, “Putting out all these fires by traditional methods will be extremely difficult. Bold, fast & innovative steps are going to be required.”
