Universities in Hong Kong launched initiatives to draw students wary of Covid-19
HKU is among the city’s universities with initiatives to retain local students and attract foreign international scholars whose plans to overseas countries disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and visa issues.
“Hong Kong has an excellent record in responding to the pandemic,” Professor Ian Holliday, vice-president (teaching and learning) at HKU told Times Higher Education in an interview, “Hong Kong is therefore a very attractive higher education destination at a time of global health crisis.”
