N95 masks and goggles should be reserved for healthcare workers. Lay people may not know how to wear an N95 mask properly as they would have to do a fit test to make sure that the mask fit a person’s facial features. You may also have difficulty breathing and feel very tired after wearing a N95 mask for a couple of hours. In general, ordinary surgical masks and glasses are sufficient for protection.
