Re-imagining Higher Education

“The Responsive University: Appreciating Content Sharing in General Education”

The e-symposium will showcase Responsive4U, a pioneering three-year project on online and hybrid education, created jointly by four universities in Hong Kong. Under the project, more than 2,000 undergraduates at the four institutions have earned academic credits from a pool of 11 courses, offered separately by the universities. Started in 2017, course designers have overcome numerous administrative challenges to create mechanisms for cross-registration and credit recognition.

On 22 June, the e-symposium will conclude with a live session featuring university leaders, academics, and students, to celebrate the experiment and to explore its implication for higher education post Covid-19.

Responsive4U, is supported by a grant from the University Grants Committee, funding body for all public universities in Hong Kong. Participating universities include The University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The live session will be held June 22nd, Monday, 10:00am-11:40am HKT.

Please join us for the celebration and an re-imagination of higher education.
